Alpha School, a growing network of AI-Driven K–8 schools, is opening a new campus in Tampa, Florida this fall, and it’s tossing out the traditional classroom model. At Alpha, AI tutors replace lectures and personalize learning so students can move at their own pace—and sometimes finish a full grade in under 80 days.

  • AI tutors adapt in real-time, adjusting difficulty and reviewing concepts based on each student's unique learning needs.


  • No traditional teachers: educators serve as motivators and coaches, not lecturers.


  • 2-hour core learning blocks in the morning; afternoons focus on life skills workshops (think: running a food truck or managing an Airbnb).


  • Other locations already active in Texas and Miami.

  • Students log in daily to learn math, reading, science, and more at their own pace.


  • The AI identifies knowledge gaps and accelerates or slows content delivery accordingly.


  • Personalized pacing means one child might complete 5 practice rounds while another does 15—no wasted reps.
